1014 Minturn

Imagine coming home to the happiest front entrance in Austin, every. single. day. We took this house from being a scene in jumanji to california-cosy. If you feel like you're seeing deja vu, you're not going crazy - we've done this exact floorplan before! What an honor to work in the same neighborhood twice.

Since we've already done this house before, we were able to be awfully efficient. The house was in phenomenal shape, it just needed to be brought into the twenty first century. We took every inch of the 80s out and put in white oak floors, calcatta quartz, custom cabinets and completely rejuvenated the landscape.

I finally used a tile I've had my eyes on for a year in the primary bathroom with a subtle foliage print. To compliment that we went with a warm gray tile that oozes effortless minimalism in the guest bathroom. These spaces are connected by the perfect open space combining the kitchen, dining room and living room. There are many small touches of texture to be noted in an otherwise neutral tranquil space like the veining in the quartz and the mixture of gold hardware finishes on the custom cabinets.

The large sliding glass doors leading between the back patio and dining space make the perfect entertaining space. With enough space for a playground, fire pit or cowboy pool adjacent, it's bound to be a slice of paradise for one lucky family!

Can you picture it?

We got so wrapped up with this project we forgot to get before photos. But you wont be disappointed by the end result:
